using a laser measure

A laser measuring device will deliver an exact measurement between two points. The important thing is to make sure that they're the right two points(!)

You need to keep the device level and straight or you'll get a false reading that's bigger than it should be. It's easy - especially when you're on a step ladder - to hold the laser at slight angle and not realise it.

If you're used to using a laser device (or measuring generally) then you'll be fine - but if you're not sure, we suggest you get a local tradesman ( who's read our measuring instructions) to do this instead.

We know that many of our customers are accomplished DIY-ers, or tradesman themselves and will make light work of this - but for those who aren't, please hire someone with the right experience to measure and fit this for you.
